Next stop was Lake Garda where we’d planned to stay put for a week in a campsite alongside the Speedies. We’d all been looking forward to catching up with the gang for many months and it was great just to chill out and not worry about moving on for a while.
The cousins got on famously as we all knew they would and a week went quickly in a blur of beaches, ice cream, meals in, meals out, boat trips, sleepovers, geocaching, walks, shopping, cafes and generally just enjoying the dolce vita…
