After moving out of our house and saying goodbye to Molly the dog and Oscar ( for the 2nd time as he decided to return home for breakfast on the day of our departure) we spent a lovely last night and day in Sydney! Managed to fit in a few more goodbyes and then spent the entire day walking around our beloved Sydney – a sign of activities to come and I cant believe that I was worried about not getting enough exercise!
After a surprisingly very pleasant 14.5 hour flight to Abu Dhabi, we are now waiting for our connecting flight to Paris and the excitement is building. It is still so hard to believe that we have embarked on a year-long adventure! Right about now, I am looking forward to a coffee and a croissant , not to mention being able to talk French to whomever will listen!!!
